Activities of the Samuel W. Morris Trust encourage community involvement in land protection and environmental restoration projects.

The Miller Marsh Peeper Project was the focus of Earth Day 2006. The object this year was to protect the wetland and stream areas from runoff of residential areas by planting approximately 200 trees and shrubs.
